Mariatu was born in Ropolon Bana. She attends Secondary school and is in class JSS1. Her mother died from typhoid malaria. Her father died from kidney failure. She is now staying with her aunt, Fatmata, a married woman who makes her living as a farmer and struggles to provide for her. Mariatu needs sponsorship to help provide for her physical, educational, and spiritual needs.
