Fatmata was born in Freetown. She attends school and is in class two.  Her mother died a few hours after she was born.  His father died two years later from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.  Fatmata lives with her grandmother, a widow, who makes her living as a gardener and struggles to provide for Fatmata.  Fatmata needs sponsorship to help provide for her physical, educational, and spiritual needs.
