Just as S.D. Gordon spoke of the priority of prayer and its unparalleled place to both God and man, Oswald Chambers said, “Prayer does not fit us for the greater work. Prayer is the greater work.” Nothing draws a person (or nation) into our hearts more than to pray for them. There is a mysterious bond woven by God connecting our heart to another in concern, compassion, and love when we pray for them. It unleashes the powers of heaven into their lives and ours.
