Abu Bakarr was born in Gonderma Camp Hospital. He attends secondary school and is in class JSS1. His mother died during chidbirth. His father died from drowning. He is now staying with his aunt, Kadiatu, a married woman who makes her living as a petty trader and struggles to provide for him.
